Reduced Registration Fee for “Radical. Redeemed. Ready.” Conference to Continue Throughout Registration Period

VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 4/1/22)—Planners of the “Radical. Redeemed. Ready.” conference, coming Wednesday-Saturday, June 15-18, 2022 at the Green Lake Conference Center in Green Lake, Wis., have made the decision to continue offering the reduced event registration fee of $139 throughout the remainder of the registration period, which closes on May 13. Given uncertainty about travel plans due to the pandemic, along with overall inflation costs, their goal is to keep the conference accessible to all who want to attend.

Please note that housing at Green-Lake Conference Center is only guaranteed through April 4, 2022. After this date, any registration that is submitted and requests for on-site housing will be given a status of “pending” until housing requests can be confirmed by the Green Lake Conference Center. The final registration deadline for the event is May 13th, 2022.

Two scholarship opportunities remain open for persons interested in attending the event: the ABCUSA Office of the General Secretary Grant (deadline April 15, 2022) and the Green Lake Conference Center Scholarship.

ABCUSA Office of the General Secretary Grant

The ABCUSA Office of the General Secretary recently received grant funding that allows us to offer travel grants from $100-$500 for those who need financial assistance to attend Radical. Redeemed. Ready.

This grant funding allows for special consideration to conference attendees who are:

traveling to the conference from Puerto Rico;
members of the Burma Diaspora;
age 35 and under.

To apply for this travel grant, submit an application to: grants@abc-usa.org. Applications must be submitted by April 15, 2022 and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Green Lake Conference Center Scholarships

Green Lake Conference Center, through special scholarship endowment funds, annually provides financial aid to assist youth and adults in attending Green Lake-sponsored conferences. Applications must be received 10 days prior to the start of each conference to be eligible for scholarship assistance.

Adult Scholarship Application
Awarded to adults age 19 and older.
Jamie Robbins (Youth) Scholarship Application
Awarded to youth ages 12-18.

“Radical. Redeemed. Ready.” celebrates women ministerial leaders, their myriad journeys into ministry and their many ways of ministering. The celebration includes recognition of the 40th Anniversary of the Women in Ministry Project, now known as American Baptist Women in Ministry (ABWIM).
