KING OF PRUSSIA, PA (ABNS 4/23/24)—The deadline to register for the 2024 Missiological Conversation on May 2 has been extended. Individuals wanting to convene in person now have until Friday, April 26, to sign up. The cutoff for virtual attendees remains the morning of May 2.
Themed “Christian Belief + White Supremacy + Authoritarian Governance = Fascism,” this hybrid event will critically explore rising authoritarianism in certain faith-based communities and delve into its wider implications for the church and American society.
The agenda includes two plenary sessions, multiple breakouts and ample facilitated discussions. Featured speakers and presenters are the Rev. Dr. Willie D. François III, a noted theologian, author, seminary professor and pastor; and Dr. Kirsteen Kim, a global missiologist, theologian, author and professor.
On-site participants will convene at ABHMS’ Leadership and Mission Building (LAMB), 1075 First Avenue, King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, while online attendees will live stream via Zoom. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
Registration is by online form. The fee to attend at the LAMB is $50 per person, which includes morning refreshments and lunch. The fee to attend online is $20 per person.
