New Dates Announced for Celebrating Ministering Women: Radical. Redeemed. Ready.

VALLEY FORGE, PA (5/20/20)—
New dates for “Celebrating Ministering Women: Radical. Redeemed. Ready.” have been announced. Originally scheduled for June 2020, the conference will now be held June 15-18, 2022, at the Green Lake Conference Center in Green Lake, Wisconsin. The event has been rescheduled for a time when organizers hope travel will be easier and safer, and promises to deepen fellowship, broaden friendships, and affirm the varieties of ministry practiced by women in our denomination.

Prior to the event, persons can read about a number of Baptist sheroes and their ministries, and learn about some of the history of women’s ministry among Baptists.  Two issues of the American Baptist Quarterly were planned to be released in June 2020 in conjunction with the now postponed “Celebrating Ministering Women: Radical. Redeemed. Ready.” conference. The issues are ready to go to press, and interested persons are invited to pre-order copies. (Note: Each issue costs $15, including domestic postage; add $10 for international postage. Include the order details in the comments section. Pre-ordering helps the publisher to know how many extras to print, to ensure enough copies are available. These issues of American Baptist Quarterly can be ordered with a credit card via the American Baptist Historical Society website here. Alternatively, mail a check to Kay Eland, American Baptist Historical Society, 1015 W. 9th Ave., King of Prussia, PA,  19406. Include postal and email addresses, and be sure to indicate #1, #2, or both.)
