VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 1/14/20)—The American Baptist Foundation (ABF) is pleased to announce that as of January 1, 2020, Linda Cassel has been promoted to the position of Associate Executive Director of Development Advisory Services.  As ABF’s Strengthening Your Financial Future program has grown in significance, Cassel has been instrumental in leading the Development Advisory staff, providing planned giving education and consultation services within the American Baptist family.

As part of her new role, Cassel will continue to report to Rev. Perkin Simpson, ABF’s Executive Director, and provide strategic support with the goal of furthering ABF’s relationship outreach and educational initiatives.   Simpson remarks, “Linda is a tremendous leader and has worked with me during my entire time at ABF.  I look forward to seeing how God will use her to strengthen the financial futures of our Members* and broader ABC family.”

Cassel has been working with the Foundation since January of 2008 and manages the training and development of our regions, partners and donors. “It is a joy and honor to work with the AB Foundation and our partners,” Cassel says, “In the coming years, I see the vital need for a sustainable pathway to grow the financial future of our ministries. A pathway where provision follows vision and commitment to the work of the Lord encourages generosity.”
