Blessed Tomorrow has developed the Moving Forward Guide, in collaboration with ABCUSA and other denominations, to provide information and resources to help the faith community reduce energy use, to build resilient houses of worship as refuges from a changing climate, and to encourage support for policies that better care for creation. In order to make the Moving Forward Guide accessible for congregational use the webinar will demonstrate how to use the Guide as a tool to facilitate conversations within your context on climate action. The webinar will be led by Blessed Tomorrow’s Anita Fete Crews, accompanied by Rev. Dr. Donald Ng, Past President of ABCUSA and Rev. Rebecca Driscoll, ABCUSA’s new Minister for Creation Justice.
ABCUSA partnered with Blessed Tomorrow in 2017 to develop our national leadership on climate change and to build collective support and action for climate solutions among our clergy and congregations. Blessed Tomorrow https://blessedtomorrow.org/ is a program of the national non-profit, eco-America that encourages and resources various sectors of American society to deal with the critical concern of rapid, extreme climate change. Blessed Tomorrow is the faith-based wing of eco-America and is a coalition of diverse religious partners united as faithful stewards of God’s creation. Blessed Tomorrow’s partners are inspired and equipped with resources to act on the great moral and spiritual challenge of our era: the global climate change emergency.
