“See…The Beloved Community” Virtual Mission Encounter

March 7-11, 2016
Register by March 2, 2016

“Do not be conformed to this world,” we are instructed by Scripture, “but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect,” (Romans 12:2 NRSV).

Based on the 2015-2016 national mission focus of AB Women’s Ministries, this virtual mission encounter for women reminds us that we are invited into a transformative relationship with God through Jesus Christ and, through that relationship, we are then called back into the world to bring about Beloved Community.

Through daily activities and evening conference calls with special guests, you will explore the vision of Beloved Community and understand our Christian calling to transform our communities through our relationships with one another.

Time Required
You can spend as much or as little time on a virtual mission encounter as you choose!

Each daily email contains several activity options, with a suggested number to complete. That suggested number totals about 30 minutes of activities that you complete on your own schedule–however, you can do fewer or more activities as you desire and your schedule allows. You may also save emails to do activities at a later time.

The evening conference calls begin at 9:00 p.m. Eastern/6:00 p.m. Pacific and last for one hour, each evening, Monday through Friday. You may participate in as many conference calls as your schedule allows. Conference calls are generally recorded and the recordings made available to registered participants only, so if you’re not able to be on a particular call you’d still be able to listen to it up to two weeks following the event.

We trust that registered participants will not forward the emails or conference call recordings to others who are not registered for this event.
