American Baptist Historical Society Announces Opening of Executive Director Search Process

ABNSHeader6.19.15ATLANTA, GA (ABNS 2/22/16)—The American Baptist Historical Society has announced the opening of a search process for its next Executive Director.

As noted in an October 2015 news release, Deborah Bingham Van Broekhoven will retire as executive director of the American Baptist Historical Society (ABHS) in August 2016. Van Broekhoven announced her plans at the annual ABHS Board of Managers meeting on October 2. The Executive Committee of the ABHS board has formed a search committee to conduct a nation-wide search for her successor.

Application Procedure

The position is now officially open and the ABCUSA Human Resources Office will be accepting applications. Interviews are projected for late April 2016, with a goal of having a candidate in place for a start date of August 15, 2016.
