Where in the World Are IM’s Global Servants Serving?

VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 10/8/12)—The 2012 missionary map and poster from American Baptist International Ministries (IM) is available for churches and individuals who would like a snapshot of where all 106 IM global servants are serving in the world.

This full-color poster visually places IM’s missionaries, development workers and global consultants in their mission field with their ministry focus area.  If you want to know more about global mission service, or you have a family member or friend who “hears the call,” the poster can be a helpful resource.  It’s available in English and Spanish by calling Tammy at 1-800-4JUDSON.

If you would like to learn more about a particular missionary, go to www.internationalministries.org and click on PEOPLE.  You can read about their ministry and see where they stand in their personalized support. You can also contact a missionary through the website.

The poster is part of the World Mission Offering (WMO) materials that were mailed to churches in July.  Additional educational and worship materials on the 2012 theme: Hear the Call are available by calling Tammy or are downloadable from the WMO website: www.worldmissionoffering.org.

The home staff at IM would like to know how churches have used this material for World Mission Offering education and promotion. Please send suggestions and stories to Catherine.nold@abc-usa.org.

The World Mission Offering is a vital source of support for IM’s current missionaries as well as for new missionary recruitment efforts, mission service projects and global Christian partners, including hospitals and clinics, seminaries, churches, schools and orphanages. Congregations may give to the totality of IM’s mission, or they may direct a portion of their gift toward the support of individual IM missionaries.
American Baptist Churches USA is one of the most diverse Christian denominations today, with 5,500 local congregations comprised of 1.3 million members, across the United States and Puerto Rico, all engaged in God’s mission around the world.
