One Great Hour of Sharing Gifts Invited Following Hurricane Michael

As the nation watches Hurricane Michael closely, we invite prayer and continued gifts to One Great Hour of Sharing to support those in need.

Rev. James Harrison, executive minister of the American Baptist Churches of the South, said that the region is prayerfully watching to see how the latest hurricane develops. He has spoken to some Florida pastors who are bracing for the storm. Harrison added, “Many are still cleaning and drying out from Florence.”

“Please continue to pray for those in harm’s way as well as those who have been so devastated by natural disasters in recent years including our brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico,” said Jeff Woods, acting general secretary of American Baptist Churches USA.
