With a life story marked by childhood abuse, Irina turned her pain into purpose. Today, she is a renowned neurocoach, psychotherapist, international speaker, and bestselling author of books such as “Your Inner Heroine” and “Restaurada,” powerful resources that inspire faith-driven women to heal, lead, and transform their communities.

Rev. Michelle Nickens is a pastor, author, activist, and artist who uses the liberating power of storytelling, music, and the creative imagination as instruments of healing and empowerment. She has taught workshops at churches, synagogues, universities, and seminaries on Womanist Theology; Domestic Violence and Child Sexual Abuse; George Floyd & Juneteenth; and the Theology of Resistance in African American Literature. Reverend Nickens has been the pastor of Washington Plaza Baptist Church in Reston, Va., since 2016. She served as 2022-2023 Vice President of the American Baptist Churches and currently serves on the General Board of the Alliance of Baptists, a racially diverse denomination with an expressed intentional commitment to becoming an anti-racist, anti white supremacist church.
