ABHMS Garners 4 Awards from Religion Communicators Council

VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 4/17/19)—At a dinner last week during its 2019 conference in Chicago, the Religion Communicators Council (RCC) presented American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) with four awards for projects completed in 2018.

National Magazine Category

  • An Award of Excellence was presented to Curtis Ramsey-Lucas, Editor of The Christian Citizen; Nadine Hasenecz, senior writer/editor; Joshua Kagi, social media specialist; and Danny Ellison, creative designer, for the Volume 2, 2018, issue of The Christian Citizen.

E-newsletter Category

  • An Award of Excellence was presented to Ramsey-Lucas and Kagi for The Christian Citizen Weekly.

Promotional/Information Video Category

  • An award of Excellence was presented to Susan Gottshall, associate director of Communications, for the America for Christ Offering 2019 “Partners in Mission” video.
  • An Award of Merit was presented to Gottshall for the America for Christ Offering 2019 “Healing Communities Ministries…A Conversation” video.
