Found Faithful In Little With Much With All is based on 1 Corinthians 4:1-2 “Think of us in this way, as servants of Christ and stewards of God’s mysteries. Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy.”

New Love, New Mercy is based on Lamentations 3:21-24. This scripture leads us to understand that even amidst our troubles, the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. God’s mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning! The scripture resonates with people who have experienced suffering.

I Have Called You Friends is based on John 15:15. It springs from an understanding of the offering as a time to respond to God’s grace. The offering is celebrated with joy. It becomes the expression of the Christ-centered community that is Christ-like in its compassion.

Dessert First: Celebrating God’s Blessings invites us to share with our faith community our personal stories of giving and receiving as well as God’s faithfulness.

Blessed Be the Lord God emphasis theme is based on Luke 1:68. This theme invites congregations to mediate on the biblical songs of Advent as they discern their individual and household giving for the following year. Giving is a central theme in many Advent songs that is often overlooked. This theme focuses on restoring our response to the great gift of Jesus Christ.

**Please note: These free resources are not the current year theme materials available through the Ecumenical Stewardship Center. Therefore most links and advertisements in the Giving magazines will not be available.
