Puerto Rico CELEBRATES!
It was 1981 when we last received the American Baptist Churches for the Biennial. 
This is a special opportunity for the Puerto Rican Baptists to display our leadership, our commitment to the denomination and to show our love for our Lord.
As you may know, this event initiated our celebration of 50 years as an ABC region. Being affiliated to ABC-USA for fifty years has been very significant! There are so many things to celebrate!
- We CELEBRATE the opportunity to expand our missionary commitment.
- We CELEBRATE the connection with so many brothers and sisters around the world.
- We CELEBRATE the opportunity to strengthen the associational principle.
- We CELEBRATE our contribution to the leadership of ABC-USA through a group of committed Puerto Ricans, such as Víctor Mercado, José Norat, Yamina Apolinaris, Irma Cruz, Julia E. Rivera and others.
- We CELEBRATE our contribution to the missionary enterprise.
- We CELEBRATE our contribution to the development of the Hispanic churches in the United States.
- We CELEBRATE our association to American Baptist Women Ministries.
- We CELEBRATE the training opportunities through diverse programs and projects, in particular New Church Development, which in turn has allowed us to contribute to the Baptist churches in Dominican Republic.
We celebrate the vitality of our churches in Puerto Rico. We celebrate that 96% of our churches contribute to the General Fund, and almost 90% to the World Mission Offering.
We also celebrate more than 80 ordained women pastors, most of them still active. 
Two of our largest churches, more than 2,000 members each one, have women as senior pastors.
We look forward to worshipping, praising and CELEBRATING!
