Luis Cortés, Jr.

Rev. Dr. Luis Cortés, Jr., is President and CEO of Esperanza, the largest Hispanic faith-based evangelical network in the U.S. Driven by the biblical mandate to serve “the least of these” (Matthew 25:40), Rev. Cortés founded Esperanza in 1987 largely with support from Hispanic clergy of Philadelphia. Today, with a national network of 12,000 Hispanic faith and community-based organizations, Esperanza is one of the leading Latino voices in America. Dr. Cortes is the author of several books and has won many awards and honors, and was featured as one of Time magazine’s “25 Most Influential Evangelicals” in January 2005. Find out more here.
