October 15-17: Attend the New Baptist Covenant 2018 Summit in Atlanta

Shaped around the theme “Journey to Justice,” this year’s Summit will feature inspirational worship and informative workshops that explore how we can bring together Baptists from different traditions and backgrounds for civil action rooted in racial reconciliation and transformation of communities.

Featured speakers will include Ruby Nell Sales, founder and director of the Spirit House Project in Atlanta, a national religious nonprofit that uses the arts, research, education, action and spirituality to bring diverse peoples together to work for racial, economic and social justice, Tim Wise, one of the nation’s most prominent antiracist essayists and educators, Rev. Dr. Marvin McMickel, President of Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, Dr. Jessica Felix Romero, communications director for Sojourners, Rev. Dr. Darryl Roberts, pastor of Nineteenth Street Baptist Church, Washington, and Rev. Julie Pennington-Russell, pastor of First Baptist Church of the City of Washington.
