Second Baptist Church of Kansas City, MO is taking an innovative biblical approach to creating a healthier church and community. They are partnering with the University of Missouri (KC) department of Psychology in a pilot program of the National Institute of Health; office of Minority Health. They have identified Diabetes, stroke and heart disease as chronic conditions within the African American Community. Project FIT is a creative and direct approach to bring about Faith that Inspires Transformation.
