Church Registration Now Online for Mission Summit 2015!

VALLEY FORGE, PA (ABNS 2/5/14)—Make your plans now to attend Mission Summit 2015, the American Baptist Churches biennial event, June 26-28, 2015, in Overland Park, Kansas. Mission Summit 2015 will once again offer a church registration plan making it easier for individuals to attend! Once a church has registered, an unlimited number of members from that church may register at a reduced rate of $40 per person. Church Registration is now open. Visit www.americanbaptists2015.com.

Church registration will remain open until February 6, 2015. At that time, individual registration will open and individuals will register at the reduced fee of $40, or at a regular fee of $165 if their church has not registered.

“In response to many requests, we are very pleased to be able to offer church registration over a year before Mission Summit 2015. Churches will be able to respond as they are able with sufficient time later for individual registration. The Planning Team is doing great work for a memorable gathering.  Please plan now to be a part of this event,” said Susan Gillies, chair of the Mission Summit Planning Team.

“American Baptists are mindful that God is calling them on a journey of faithfulness and witness,” said Rev. Don Ng, president of American Baptist Churches USA. “Every two years, we gather to praise God for vision, gather around tables to discern God’s direction, and covenant together to do the work of the Lord in the world. The 2015 Biennial Mission Summit, June 26-28 in Overland Park, Kansas, is the place for you to Share the Journey (Psalm 84:5)! You have heard how wonderful 2013 was, now is your opportunity to begin planning to join your sisters and brothers on God’s journey with us in 2015.”

“Every two years, we come together to reminisce, to make new friends, to network with colleagues, and to listen to God’s leading. Your voices and presence are valued and welcomed to Share the Journey in 2015! I hope to see you and meet you there!” said Ng.
