New Stewardship Sunday Resource!

Did you know…

Most Americans associate the month of November with Thanksgiving. In American Baptist Churches, we also think of November as a time to express our thankfulness to God for the many gifts given to us. We do this as generous disciples by promising to return a portion of our financial resources to God through the ministry of our local churches.

In many churches, this giving is celebrated on “Stewardship Sunday,” usually the second Sunday of the month of November. Although the official date for Stewardship Sunday is November 10, 2013, many churches celebrate Stewardship throughout the fall and year on different dates.

American Baptist Churches USA has produced a new Stewardship Sunday bulletin insert, available for use by churches:

November is a time for thanking God for the gifts we have been given.

This ministry is made possible because of your generous support of United Mission.
